WHEN DANIEL’S FATHER BRINGS HOME A SPECIAL FISHBOWL, THE SIX-YEAR-OLD HAS NO IDEA OF THE ADVENTURE THAT AWAITS.

“Daniel could see the toys in his room growing bigger and bigger. That’s when he realized, the toys weren’t bigger, he was smaller… He was INSIDE THE BOWL!”

When Daniel’s father comes home from a faraway place, he brings home a gift. It’s a bowl full of brightly colored fish. But there’s something else in the bowl—a very strange-looking snail!

His father says the snail is special. And before Daniel knows it, he’s swooped into an underwater world, where he meets a boy named Zak. Zak’s hair is made of seaweed—and he’s riding a seahorse. How can that be? Zak explains that Daniel is in a place called the Rainbow City—a tiny, magical place that’s located on the Kiran snail inside his fishbowl. His father was right—the snail is pretty special indeed.

The Rainbow City is an amazing place to visit. But how will Daniel ever find his way home again? Zak leads him to King Nautilus, who knows the secrets of the Kiran. But the king can’t help him, because his Wand of Wonders has been stolen! Now Daniel and Zak must set off on a quest to find it. They’ll have to battle some bullying betta fish, team up with Sparkle the Starfish, Tipsy the Turtle, and other new friends—and try to retrieve the Wand of Wonders from the thief before it’s too late…

A wondrous adventure with positive messages about friendship, perseverance, and imagination in this delightfully dreamy story, ideal for reading aloud and illustrated with playful renderings of the magical underwater world and its amazing sea creatures.
